Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer or Property Lawyer to join a thriving and supportive conveyancing team within a reputable UK law firm. You will handle a busy residential conveyancing caseload independently, ensuring high levels of client care and compliance with the latest industry regulations.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer or qualified solicitor/legal executive with a passion for property law who is looking to develop within a collaborative team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a full caseload of residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion, including:Freehold and leasehold sales and purchasesRemortgagesTransfers of equityNew build transactionsHelp to Buy and shared ownership transactions (desirable)Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to progress matters efficiently.Ensure all transactions are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering checks and risk management procedures.Provide regular updates to clients, delivering excellent client service throughout the transaction.Use case management systems efficiently to progress files and maintain accurate records.Support and supervise junior conveyancers or assistants where appropriate.RequirementsMinimum 4 years of experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently within a UK law firm or licensed conveyancer environment.Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX Legal Executive (or equivalent) preferred, but experienced non-qualified conveyancers will also be considered.Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and associated regulatory frameworks.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent communication and client care skills with a professional, empathetic approach.Proficiency with conveyancing case management systems and Microsoft Office.Desirable SkillsExperience with new build, Help to Buy, or shared ownership transactions.Knowledge of commercial property transactions (if applicable to the firm).Ability to contribute to business development and networking initiatives.BenefitsCompetitive salary and discretionary bonus scheme.Pension scheme.Professional development opportunities and support with ongoing training.Friendly and collaborative team culture.Please note we will require a copy of your UK rights to work to be forwarded for this position thank you.Due to the unprecedented volume of response, we are currently receiving, regrettably we are no longer able to respond to every application individually.
