As we accelerate, we are looking for talented individuals to join us on the next phase of our journey.Our Values:KnowledgeDrivenUnityAbout the role: We are seeking a highly motivated materials chemist to join our team in October 2025 to provide maternity cover within our core materials team. In this role, you will contribute to the synthesis and development of perovskite nanocrystals. This is a hands-on, research-focused position ideal for someone with a strong background in perovskite materials.Responsibilities:Join our innovative core materials team to lead the synthesis of perovskite nanocrystals and develop novel, scalable synthetic methods.Development of purification and post-processing methods to improve efficiency and reliability of materials.Preparation of stable nanoparticles dispersions for use in ink formulations.Determine structure/property relationships, study degradation mechanisms, and correlate to particle and dispersion properties.Characterisation of materials.Communicate and engage with internal and external stakeholders.Experience and attributes:Masters degree with 2+ years industry experience or PhD in chemistry, material science or related field.Proven research background in Perovskite, quantum dots or other colloidal nanocrystals.Experience and knowledge within materials synthesis, nanoparticles synthesis, colloidal chemistry and/or formulation chemistry.Hands-on experience with a range of material characterisation techniques such as optical microscopy, optical absorption, photoluminescence, TEM, NMR, GC/LC-MS, XRF, DLS, SEM, XRD, FTIR, etc.The ability to approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset.Taking the initiative to identify opportunities, propose new ideas, and drive projects forward.
