Paediatric Complex Care Support WorkerLocation: Slough We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Paediatric Complex Care Support Worker to provide dedicated, high-quality care for children with complex medical needs in the Slough area. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support to children with complex health needs, including those requiring PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, and suctioningAdminister enteral feeding via PEG tubes following prescribed care plansPerform tracheostomy care and manage suctioning to maintain airway patency and prevent complicationsMonitor and respond promptly to changes in the child’s condition, escalating concerns appropriatelyAssist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities in a safe and dignified mannerMaintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided, including clinical observations and equipment useCollaborate closely with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver consistent, person-centred careFollow all health and safety regulations and infection control protocolsAttend relevant training to maintain and update clinical skillsPerson Specification: Previous experience working with paediatric clients with complex medical needsCompetent in PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, suctioning, and related clinical skillsAbility to manage emergency situations calmly and effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsValid UK driving licence preferredCommitment to providing compassionate and respectful careThis is a rewarding role for a dedicated healthcare professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex needs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
