The team work across Trust sites, mainly at Bradford Royal Infirmary, St Luke's Hospital, and the Community Diagnostic Centre (Eccleshill). You will be expected to rotate across our areas to perform the phlebotomy role in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with both Adults and Children. You will be responsible for the taking and handling of good quality blood samples from patients following set procedures and protocols. All training will be provided as part of the onboarding and training period. We are looking for someone who is an excellent team player, can remain calm under pressure, is a good communicator with basic IT skills, and can work well with minimal supervision in a professional and responsible manner. Good manual dexterity is essential, as well as the ability to work quickly, safely, and with attention to detail. All posts work on shift patterns. Earliest start time - 07:00. Latest Finish Time - 17:00. Post-holders must be flexible to meet these times. Person SpecificationExperiencePrevious experience, training and knowledge of providing phlebotomy services Experience of working with Paediatrics (children) in a health or social care capacity. Previous experience of working in NHS.
