Manager, Sourcing & Supply Chain, People Consulting, Belfast or Derry/Londonderry The opportunity To support the development and execution of EY’s supplier and sourcing strategy for Managed Learning Services, contributing to a high-performing supply chain that enhances client outcomes, fosters innovation, and optimises operational costs through effective procurement solutions. Your key responsibilities Assist in the implementation of the MLS sourcing strategy across a portfolio of suppliers. Support the establishment and management of strategic partnerships with key suppliers to drive value creation. Help introduce and integrate AI and automation into sourcing workflows to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Mentor and guide junior team members in sourcing and supplier management practices. Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring supplier delivery aligns with contractual and service expectations. Utilise internal systems, such as ServiceNow, to optimise data and supplier performance reporting. Collaborate with risk, legal, and commercial teams to support supplier contracts and risk management efforts. Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives within the supply chain. Assist in sourcing solutions for new client opportunities and bids. Overseeing and managing strategic and critical supplier relationships to drive high performance and develop mutually beneficial goals. Skills and attributes for success Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management within a complex and regulated environment. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Ability to manage supplier and client relationships effectively. Understanding of operational and third-party risk frameworks. Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI, in procurement and supply chain contexts. Team leadership and coaching abilities. Experience with digital platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, Coupa, SAP Ariba) is desirable. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed consulting or services environment. To qualify for the role; Degree-qualified or equivalent experience. MCIPS certification is desirable but not essential. Project or programme management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2) are a bonus.
