About The Role Please note that this is a full-time role working 36 hours per week, with full flexibility required, including alternate weekend working. Your responsibilities will include helping to prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals that our residents will love, assisting with and preparing cakes for the morning tea trolley and lunch desserts/cakes. You’ll demonstrate the highest standards in cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene. Whether maintaining food supplies and fridge/freezer temperatures, showing new starters how to use equipment, or cleaning up spills, resident well-being will always be your top priority. HC-One is seeking someone with kitchen experience who is aware of The Food Safety Act 1990, The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, RIDDOR, and COSHH regulations. Great record-keeping and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to follow recipes. When communicating with residents or colleagues, you should be considerate and kind—after all, it’s just in your nature. Subject to experience and qualifications.
