What you'll do as a Clinical Governance Manager The post holder will be responsible for ensuring robust clinical governance processes at Doccla. This will include evaluating, monitoring and maintaining clinical quality and assurance across the organisation, supported by the Chief Medical Officer. Lead the development of clinical governance initiatives to support highest quality and safest patient careHave a lead role in ensuring compliance with CQC regulatory expectationsHave a lead role in the development of and adherence to underpinning clinical policies and strategiesOffer project management support to clinical governance processesDevelop and quality assure effective systems for the investigation of incidents, complaints and patient feedbackRole model a culture of clinical governance and quality in the organisationLead on organisational training related to clinical governance activitiesUndertake and oversee clinical audit processes and support with dissemination of learningEnsuring joined up clinical governance processes between Doccla and partnersClinical Governance reportingRequirements The post holder must demonstrate effective leadership qualities and have extensive experience of patient care. They must be able to work well in a flexible environment with a multidisciplinary team (including non-clinicians). They must be skilled at communicating and able to motivate teams to achieve quality outcomes. Above all, the post holder must be passionate about service improvement through innovation and patient-centred care. Qualifications The post holder must: be educated to a degree level or equivalent;have current registration with NMC/HCPC;have the right to work in the UK; andhave evidence of specialist knowledge and continuing professional development.Experience: The post holder must have: extensive experience of clinical governance in healthcare setting;extensive experience of leading healthcare services through CQC preparation and inspection;experience of embedding clinical governance processes; anda proven record of strong leadership and managing teamsThe post holder would ideally also have: experience of working in an independent digital healthcare settingproject management experienceSkills/Abilities: The post holder must: be able to read, write and speak English fluently;have solid technology acumen;have excellent written and verbal communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skills;be excellent at team working with the ability to work using their own initiative;be a strong role model across Doccla as a whole, and demonstrate compassionate leadershipbe professional and patient-focussed;be accountable for their own actions in accordance with their Code of Professional Conduct;demonstrate a strong commitment to identifying development opportunities, celebrating success, and encouraging creativity, innovation, and excellence in practice;be able to work autonomously with minimal direction;be dynamic, flexible and willing to task shift to meet the needs of the organisational prioritieshave delegation, people and workload management skills;use an evidence-based approach to decision makingensure clinical governance activities are benchmarked to best practice and national guidelines;have strong analytical and problem-solving skillshave the ability to identify, develop, nurture and promote innovative approaches to service developmenthave well-developed project management, presentation, and reporting skills; andbe confident using IT systems MS office (including word and excel).Ideally, applicants will also have some knowledge and experience of remote patient monitoring technologies.How we workWeempowereveryone to takeownershipand responsibility for the company and their role within it.
