Direct message the job poster from Cirkle PR Senior Account Executive Location : London – Hybrid working We’re looking for a talented PR Senior Account Executive to join our award-winning Retail Trade team here at Cirkle. If you’re passionate about the fast-moving world of retail, have a flair for media relations, and enjoy working across big-name FMCG clients and exciting campaigns, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Ideally, you’ll already bring some retail trade experience, and you’ll be confident in juggling everything from media sell-ins to campaign planning and client comms. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll get hands-on experience across all areas of integrated communications, from writing press releases and crafting compelling content to managing events, briefing media, and supporting day-to-day client work. The day to day: Client Relations & Account Management Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries across all levels Lead on specific projects and present updates in client status meetings Confidently manage client meetings, setting agendas and capturing clear actions Support the smooth running of PR planning sessions and quarterly reviews Build trusted relationships with junior and mid-level client contacts Keep client plans up to date and aligned with evolving marketing activity Recommend the best tools and channels to showcase PR campaign results Media Relations Draft and distribute press releases, features content, and advertorials, ensuring timely approvals and appropriate photography Proactively pitch to journalists, suggest lateral feature opportunities, and build strong media relationships Arrange interviews and briefings, preparing Q&As and supporting materials as needed Manage media initiatives such as publishing house tours, branded content, giveaways, and gift sourcing Plan and deliver press events, including venue sourcing, invite management, and logistics coordination Maintain up-to-date media schedules and regularly meet with key media to stay informed and spot opportunities Team Support & Culture Support the development of more junior team members, offering guidance, feedback, and opportunities to shine. Contribute creative ideas to team brainstorms and new business pitches, always bringing energy, insight and fresh thinking. Be an active and positive member of the Cirkle team, helping to shape and uphold the agency’s collaborative, high-performing culture. Person spec Ideally some experience in retail trade PR, or a strong interest in the sector Strong written and verbal communication skills A confident team player who’s also comfortable working independently Proven media relations and content creation experience Excellent organisation and time management Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Photoshop a bonus!)
