JOB PURPOSE: The Ice Cream Assistant HRBP forColworthwill act as a lead forend-to-endHR supportingRD&Iteams based inColworthin The Magnum Ice Cream Company’sRD&IGlobalCentre. This personwill sit at the center of the HR engine and will have strongrelationshipswith ourotherHRBPs, Talent Partners, People Partners, and employees. They must also be able to positively influence theemployees’experience at critical points in their career. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Stakeholder Engagement:Engage with stakeholders at all levels of theorganisationto gain buy-in and support for proposed changes. Work with department heads and team leaders to ensure thatorganisationalchanges align with functional needs.Performance Management:Support performance management processes includingend-of-yearassessmentsfor employees.Organization Development:Support business leaders and HRBPs in the implementation of their organization, for example, position management, OVHs/cost control.Support Ice Cream HR Strategic People Agenda:Work with HRBPs and Leaders to create and deliver project plans for managing any change programmes and reorganisations.Take a proactive approach toemployee relations, reviewing data and spotting any employee relations trends, recommendingsolutionsand coaching Line Managers to take any actions you feel are the right steps to take/ tackle problems before they grow.Work side-by-side with teams across HR (HRBPs, Payroll, Reward, Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition etc), providing support and subject matterexpertiseto recommendappropriate actionsto address queries or problems.Lean into central teams People Agenda topics when needed, helping shape and drive some of the site initiatives.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: SKILLS: Ableto connect the dots on all things HR and its impact on the wider business. Being able to step back and view the bigger picture is essential.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, building strong relationships with trust & confidence, as well as having the ability to influence.Ability to influence strategic deliverables in a matrixed organisation.Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously.Experience of employee relations and case management, including knowledge of UK employment laws and regulationsExperience in handling sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy, you are comfortable having difficult conversations, working professionally and discreetly with sensitive informationA natural collaborator –you’llwork well as part of the team.
