Through mentoring, leadership development, and community-building, we support women to build confidence, skills, and networks in the workplace. Role Overview We are seeking a passionate, highly organised Mentoring Programme Coordinator to work alongside the Mentoring Lead in delivering a high-impact mentoring programme. This freelance role will support the recruitment, matching, and ongoing support of mentors and mentees, coordinate virtual masterclasses, maintain programme data, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. This role is ideal for someone with experience in mentoring programme delivery or community coordination, strong relationship management skills, and a passion for social impact. Key Responsibilities Review applications and assist with matching mentors and mentees to create effective pairs Manage and support mentor/mentee relationships, including regular check-ins via email or phone to monitor progress and troubleshoot issues Delivery mentee and mentor training Maintain an up-to-date, GDPR-compliant database tracking mentor and mentee information and programme outcomes Support the ongoing development of monitoring, evaluation, and feedback processes to measure programme success and inform improvements Create and update written resources and guides to assist mentors and mentees Event & Masterclass Coordination Plan and coordinate masterclasses and events in London and virtually, including scheduling, liaising with guest speakers, and ensuring smooth delivery Tailor masterclass content logistics to meet the specific needs and interests of each cohort Assist with communication and follow-up with participants and speakers Organise socials for mentees and mentors Participate in monthly wider team meetings and occasional strategy/work days Attend regular one-to-one check-ins with the Mentoring Lead Contribute insights and ideas to the overall strategy and improvement of the mentoring programme Proven experience coordinating or delivering mentoring or similar community programmes, ideally in a non-profit or social impact context Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively Experience in event planning and coordination, especially virtual events or workshops Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with sensitivity and professionalism in managing relationships Competence in managing data and administration, including use of spreadsheets and databases while ensuring GDPR compliance Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small, mission-driven team Strong commitment to supporting Muslim women’s career development and MWC’s values London-based, with availability for occasional in-person meetings or events Personal or lived experience of the challenges Muslim women face in professional environments Familiarity with safeguarding practices and volunteer management What We Offer Access to free MWC events and training opportunities Opportunity to contribute to a meaningful programme impacting the lives of Muslim women Collaborative and supportive team environment Competitive freelance rate of £18/hour, up to 9–10 hours per week for 6 months How to Apply Please send your CV and a short cover letterto info@ Seniority levelSeniority level Entry level Employment typeEmployment type Contract Job functionJob function Other Industries Non-profit Organizations Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Muslim Women Connect by 2x Get notified about new Program Coordinator jobs inLondon Area, United Kingdom .
