Role Overview: As a Technical Programme Manager (TPM), you will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives across our enterprise data platform. This platform supports a wide range of data products and services, and your work will directly influence its scalability, resilience, and strategic evolution! You will lead the coordination of engineering, product, architecture, and operations teams to ensure delivery is aligned with business priorities and platform strategy. Your focus will be on driving clarity, consistency, and momentum across the platform-ensuring that infrastructure, DevOps, data engineering, and governance efforts are well-integrated. This role requires a strong understanding of modern delivery practices, cloud-native platforms, and data-centric environments. You will bring structure to ambiguity, manage delivery at scale, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across teams and workstreams. Key Responsibilities: Programme & Delivery Management Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programmes across the data platform. Define programme scope, success metrics, and delivery milestones in collaboration with engineering and product leadership. Lead delivery timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource planning across multiple teams and domains. Ensure delivery is predictable, transparent, and aligned with strategic business objectives. Cross-Platform Coordination Coordinate across DevOps, data engineering, architecture, security, and product teams ensuring cohesive delivery. Facilitate cross-team collaboration and alignment, managing interdependencies and resolving blockers. Lead delivery ceremonies, stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning sessions to maintain momentum and visibility. Strategic Alignment & Governance Ensure platform initiatives align with enterprise architecture, compliance, and data governance standards. Support prioritisation and sequencing of work to improve value delivery and minimise delivery risk. Establish and maintain delivery governance, reporting, and documentation standards across the platform. Process Improvement & Agile Delivery Champion agile delivery practices (Scrum, Kanban) and champion a culture of continuous improvement. Identify and implement improvements to delivery processes, tooling, and team collaboration. Support the adoption of platform-wide standards for planning, testing, release management, and operational readiness. Provide clear, concise, and regular updates to senior leadership on programme status, risks, and delivery outcomes. Build strong relationships with colleagues across technology, operations, and business functions. Act as a trusted adviser on delivery strategy, platform maturity, and operational scalability. Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Programme Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar role in a complex, cloud-native, and data-driven environment. Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale, cross-functional programmes involving infrastructure, DevOps, and data platforms. Strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies and programme governance frameworks. Experience managing delivery across hybrid and multi-cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure), with a focus on platform modernisation and operational excellence. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams and priorities. Strong organisational, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity. Proficiency with delivery and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro). Experience working in regulated industries (e.g. financial services, government) is highly desirable. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a focus on outcomes, accountability, and continuous improvement. LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
