School Nurse Our client, a prestigious institution based near Watford (WD6), has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a School Nurse (Term-Time Only, Monday-Friday) . Joining a modern, well equipped health centre and care team, this is a unique role within a small but thriving school which offers the successful candidate to build close working relationships across the community. The successful candidate will be entitled to a salary of £27-34k (after pro-rata) dependent on experience, work across 35 weeks of the year as this role is term time only, free lunches, a generous pensions scheme and more. The Role Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff Assess, manage and monitor minor illnesses and injuries Administer prescribed and non-prescribed medications Manage chronic health conditions (E.g. Diabetes, asthma, epilepsy) and create individual care plans To maintain confidential accurate health records Communicate with parents, guardians regarding student health concerns The Ideal candidate Medical qualification appropriate to the role with current registration to the regulatory body Eg.
