Job Title: Facilities ManagerLocation: ExeterContract Type: Full-Time, Temporary ContractSalary: £38,000 - £39,000 per annumAbout the Role:Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to join their team on a temporary contract to oversee a portfolio of PFI schools in the Exeter area. You will act as the primary point of contact (24/7) for your assigned schools and provide cover for others when needed.The role focuses on the effective delivery of hard FM services, team management, compliance, and client engagement. You will work closely with the Hard FM Manager and other internal specialists to ensure service excellence across your sites.Key Responsibilities:Lead on hard FM service delivery across nominated schoolsManage and support on-site staff including Engineers and CaretakersAct as the main liaison with school stakeholders and the clientDeliver staff inductions, manage rotas, absence, and performancePromote a safety-first culture and ensure all H&S procedures are followedMonitor contractor activity, manage permits, and oversee site standardsReview and sign off PPM documentation and ensure timely job closureTrack and manage unavailability/penalty deductions, ensuring minimal impactObtain quotes, raise purchase orders, and manage cost variationsAttend internal/external meetings and participate in out-of-hours escalation rotaWhat We'r...
