Sharp Consultancy are excited to be working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Worksop who are looking to recruit a Project Accountant. The role reports into the Finance Director, and will be responsible for producing, analysing and controlling all aspects of revenue and costs associated with project accounting alongside taking further responsibility in reviewing project performance against budget and to monitor the performance of a variety of projects throughout their life cycle. This individual will act as a business partner and forge relationships with all stakeholders, including meeting with stakeholders regularly and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently. Attention to detail is key as any anomalies throughout the project’s life need to be picked up, reported, and accounted for. This opportunity would suit an individual who is commercially focussed and looking to take control of a portfolio of projects whilst taking responsibility for the processes and has the confidence/skills to challenge where necessary.
