To help maintain these high standards, we are currently recruiting aMusic Technicianto provide an expert technical support service for staff and students in undergraduate, postgraduate, research and consultancy projects for the Music group. The Role: So, you know your stuff when it comes to studio set ups. You have your HNC/HND in Music (or equivalent/related subject) and you have some work experience under your belt. You are comfortable with basic instrument repairs, soldering cables etc. and you can quite easily set up and install studio equipment for a wide variety of scenarios. Perhaps you have already worked in a recording studio or have extensive experience as a sound engineer at a live venue.
