This is a Partime Role 20 hours a week. You will plan and implement high quality support for women and children affected by all forms of domestic abuse. Leading a casework and providing specialist and pro-active services to victims, you will lead on referrals into the community team, you will develop and deliver a range of support services to women and their children. You will ensure that any issues in relation to the safeguarding of children or vulnerable adults are responded to in line with Panahghar policies and procedures, including completing Child Protection, and MARAC referrals. You will recognise, respect and address the needs of those who face barriers when seeking help to access the service, including those from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, LGBT communities, disabled people, those with complex needs, and other hard to reach groups. To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with BAME communities experiencing domestic violence and experiencing of working with Black Asian and Minority Communities. You will also need to have experience of having worked within a social care / welfare setting, and within safeguarding guidelines to protect and promote the well-being of children and vulnerable adults.
