Our OEM Client based in Whitley, Coventry, is searching for a Logistics Operations Specialist (Prototype Build) to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 31st March 2026.Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.The PVO team, in which the Engineering Parts Logistics team are based, are a critical area within Product Engineering (PE) with an important role in the creation of prototype vehicles.Working under the Product Engineering Operations (PEO) function, they are directly responsible for all our automotive client’s prototype vehicle build Preparation.Often seen as a key interface between Vehicle Programme, Vehicle Engineering & Manufacturing teams, PVO work to create a strategy for successful prototype builds and they are currently in an exciting period whilst they expand their product portfolio.The main purpose of this role will be to:Support pre-production builds by obtaining and maintaining delivery promises from external supplier. Ensuring delivery promises meet build requirements / escalating issues. Parts are owned from dispatch to receipt in storage locations and building supplier relationships is an integral part of the role while ensuring all NRP (Non-Released Parts) are delivered on time.
