As part of continued growth, our client is looking to expand their team with the addition of a Field Service Technician. In this mobile role, you will provide critical on-site support across a wide customer base in the South focusing on key airports such as Heathrow and Gatwick.The successfull candiate will have previous field based/mobile mechanical experience with HGV's, plant machinery or Ground Support Equipment (GSE)This organisation is a well-established provider of Ground Support Equipment and Airfield Maintenance Equipment, with strong roots in the UK and the backing of a long-established parent company based in the United States. Their commitment to innovation and service has made them a trusted partner to airports across the country.Key Responsibilities* Perform planned maintenance on airport GSE* Conduct breakdown repairs and fault-finding (electrical and mechanical)* Carry out calibrations and fire system inspections* Support thorough examinations in accordance with LOLER (depending on competency)* Deliver expert technical support and diagnosticsRequired Experience* Proven experience in maintaining and repairing Ground Support Equipment, Commercial Vehicles, Materials Handling Equipment, or Plant Machinery* Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills* Excellent interpersonal and planning skills* Full UK Driving Licence* Able to pass a 5-year ba...
