Title:Permanent SEN Teaching Assistant Timings:8:30am - 4:00pm Location:London Start date:September 2025 In this role you will be helping Teachers to look after the classroom and ensure that all children are safe, the classroom is tidy and assist the children in learning. To succeed in this role you need to have patience and empathy with the ability to recognisewhen a child needs support. Responsibilities: Ensuring a safe environment for children Assisting the Teacher in preparing for the lessons Getting the classroom set up for lessons Cleaning and reorganising the room after classes Taking care of children who are unwell or experiencing emotional distress Recording and reporting a pupil’s progress to the Teacher Supervising at break time, lunch time, group activities, sports events and school outings Helping to support the Teachers in managing student behaviours Requirements: Experience working with children Have the ablity to work with children and help them learn To be patient and kind Help chidlren with other needs such as emotional support To be proactive in supporting the teacher Be organised and be able to tidy classrooms to ensure the correct environment for chil...
