Plumber Location: Boston Salary: Up to £35,000 + 15% weekend shift allowance (rota-based) Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week (rota-based including 1 in 3 weekends)Overview We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our on-site facilities management team at HMP Durham. This is a permanent role offering stability, a competitive salary, and additional weekend and on-call allowances. As part of a critical maintenance team within a secure environment, you’ll be carrying out a range of routine and reactive plumbing tasks that contribute to the safety and efficiency of the prison estate.Key Responsibilities* Carry out routine and non-routine plumbing maintenance* Diagnose and repair faults in mains water supplies and domestic systems* Conduct inspections, water sampling, and risk assessments* Identify and rectify life-expired equipment and associated issues* Operate light plant equipment as required* Ensure all tasks are completed in line with health and safety protocols* Support wider estate maintenance and compliance as part of the FM teamWhat You’ll Need Essential:* NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent)* Full UK driving licence* Proven experience in a commercial plumbing environment* Ability to work on a rota, including 1 in 3 weekends and on-call shifts* Comfortable working in a secure...
