Bury Council is looking for a dedicated and motivated Personal Adviser to join our Social Care and Safeguarding team. In this rewarding role, you’ll work directly with children in care and care leavers, supporting them to achieve positive outcomes and make a successful transition into adulthood.Key Responsibilities: Support the implementation of care and pathway plansProvide practical and emotional support to children, young people, and their familiesHelp prepare young people for independence and adulthoodPromote education, training, employment, and housing opportunitiesMaintain regular contact and act as a key point of support for care leaversAdvocate for young people and support their participation in decision-makingContribute to assessments, reviews, and multi-agency planningWhat We're Looking For: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)Significant experience working with children and/or adolescents in a professional capacityKnowledge of child development and safeguarding issuesStrong communication skills and the ability to build effective, supportive relat...
