Multi-Skilled Maintenance OperativeLocation: The central belt Salary: £31,200 + Benefits Hours: Full-Time, PermanentFMSS are looking for a hands-on, versatile Maintenance Operative to handle both planned and reactive maintenance across our client's sites in Glasgow, Ayrshire and Edinburgh. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone with a multi-trade background who enjoys problem-solving and getting stuck in.What You’ll Do:*Carry out general building repairs – plumbing, joinery, painting, and minor electrics in commercial and residential properties.*Respond to urgent maintenance issues quickly and safely.*Support PPM schedules, fire alarm testing, and compliance checks.*Work with contractors and suppliers for larger projects.*Keep accurate records and ensure all work meets H&S standards.*Form part of the on call rota.What We’re Looking For:*Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, or handyperson role.*Multi-skilled with knowledge of basic trades.*Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.*Good communication and customer service skills.*Driving licence (essential).Why Join Us?*Competitive pay, great benefits, and ongoing training opportunities.*A friendly team an...
