Supervised Contact Worker Location: Solihull Council Rate: £16.47 per hour Hours: 18.5 hours per week (Part-Time: Monday to Wednesday) Apply via: (url removed)We are looking to recruit a Supervised Contact Worker on behalf of Solihull Council, to work with families and children in a part-time capacity. This is a vital and sensitive role supporting vulnerable children and their families during supervised contact sessions.? Key Responsibilities: Supervise contact between children and family members (usually parents), ensuring the safety and welfare of the child is prioritised.Promote a positive contact experience while observing and reporting on family interactions.Prepare detailed and factual written observations of each session to be used in care planning or court proceedings.Liaise with social workers and other professionals to support ongoing assessments and casework.Prepare contact rooms before and after sessions and maintain a calm, welcoming environment for children.Adhere to safeguarding procedures at all times.?
