The Company & The Role A leading UK electronics manufacturing company is seeking a Soldering Technician to join its team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in PCB soldering for major OEMs across a variety of sectors.Key Responsibilities* Perform hand soldering on PCBs in line with defined build instructions, IPC-A-610, and J-STD standards.* Depending on experience, carry out board modifications to meet customer requirements.* Adhere strictly to all production processes; raise any gaps or improvement opportunities with your supervisor.* Support continuous improvement initiatives, including updating documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS).* Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures.Candidate RequirementsProven soldering experience, ideally to IPC-A-610 and J-STD Class 3 standards.Modification experience preferred, though not essential.Familiarity with surface mount technologyStrong attention to detail.Ability to follow customer drawings accurately.Knowledge of leaded resistor colour codes is desirable.Current IPC certification is a strong advantage, as is experience working to aerospace standards.The PackageSalary: £25,000 – £28,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)We operate and advertise as an Employment Agency for permanent positions and an Employment Business for contract/tempora...
