Our client are a small, well established freight forwarder based in Chertsey who have a position available for anOcean Import Executive . A trainee will also be considered for this role and full training will be provided in that situation. The salary on offer will be DOE up to a max of £34k for an experienced import ocean & Customs professional. This is a Mon-Friday/37.5hr week and excellent prospects are available for the right person. Overall Purpose of the Ocean Import Executive To ensure all work is undertaken and actioned correctly in accordance with company procedures and policies. Ensuring that our customers and overseas agents receive a good level of service. Main Tasks and Responsibilities of the Ocean Import Executive Arrange collection of any overseas shipments from any country (not sanctioned countries) either directly through a designated haulier or by approved overseas agent. Ensuring all correct documentation is in place. Request clearance instructions for any shipment requiring an import clearance to be done or an appointed approved agent.
