Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for 2x experienced stator Winders on a 3 month rolling contract, based in the Midlands.This role falls INSIDE IR35Overview: The successful candidate will contribute to the precision winding of stators for large industrial generators and motors in a high-quality manufacturing environment. This contract role falls inside IR35 and is suited for individuals who bring hands-on experience and can work independently to exacting engineering standards.Key Responsibilities:* Perform coil winding of stator cores using both form-wound and random-wound techniques.* Interpret and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and technical procedures.* Apply insulation materials and carry out lacing, taping, and vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) processes.* Operate winding equipment, ovens, and other tooling necessary for stator assembly.* Conduct visual and measurement-based quality checks during and after winding.* Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet tight deadlines and high-quality benchmarks.Required Skills and Experience:* Significant prior experience as a Stator Winder or Coil Winder in heavy electrical machinery manufacturing or repair.* Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings and process documents.* Strong pr...
