SEN/SEMH Teaching AssistantJob Type: Temp to Perm Location: Milton Keynes Working Hours: 08:30 - 16:30 Start Date: September We are seeking a dedicated SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team, working with students who have autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour. Day-to-day of the role:Support the educational and social development of students with special educational needs (SEN) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. Work closely with teachers to tailor learning activities to the individual needs of students, ensuring they engage effectively in lessons. Implement behavioural management strategies to handle challenging behaviour and promote a safe and supportive learning environment. Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Plans. Provide one-to-one support and group support within the classroom setting. Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
