Mechanical Fitter/Engineer Location: Anglian Water Employment Type: Permanent or Contract We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Mechanical Fitter/Engineer to join our team working on a key project in Anglian Water. You'll be part of a small, dedicated team (3-4 individuals, including a supervisor) responsible for essential mechanical installation and maintenance within the water industry. We are looking for individuals who are committed to safety, quality, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities As a Mechanical Fitter/Engineer, you will be responsible for: * Installing various mechanical components, including pipework, valves, pumps, and motors. * Performing planned maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance. * Undertaking assigned activities efficiently and effectively under the direction of a Supervisor or Team Leader. * Adhering strictly to all safety regulations and industry best practices. * Staying informed about new mechanical and piping legislation. * Ensuring all work is completed to the appropriate levels of safety, quality, and cost. * Taking proper care of all safety equipment and tools provided, ensuring their correct and safe use. * Working effectively as part of a team, contributing to successful communication and positive behaviours on site. * Working on a construction site, which may involve working in cramped conditions or at height.
