Our client is looking to add anAerospace Planner to their expanding team . Reporting directly to the Operations Manager Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.30 -18.00 although flexibility is essential, evening and weekend calls/emails to support drivers but this is shared between operational staff The main goal of the Planner is optimizing asset utilization, load factor and minimizing route cost while keeping customer performance high and stable for own assets. Working as part of a team with close communication between drivers and other team members. Requirements Previous experience in the field of logistics Knowledge of customs procedures Knowledge of and interest in automated planning systems Extensive knowledge of logistics and planning principles Comprehensive knowledge of driver’s hours and transport legislation Basic knowledge of cost price calculations Able to express in English Responsibilities Planning of the movement of aircraft engines, related components and exceptional cargo on a 24/7, 365 basis. Interfacing with blue chip client and business professionals on a daily base.
