Please forward CV to NOT APPLY VIA LINKEDIN APPLY NOW BUTTON. Key tasks includeDealing with all daily accounting tasks. Transaction postings. Checking and posting bills. Posting of nominal expenses and dealing with branch and department allocations. Dealing with bank payments Dealing with deposit accounts. Bank reconciliations. Reviewing, calculating, and applying interest to client balances. Reviewing client matters and liaising with fee earners. Checking of probate distribution accounts and completion statements. Assisting with month end and year end procedures. Any other tasks that may reasonably be required. Experience and Personal QualitiesThe main qualifications for this position are experience of legal cashier / accounts assistant work for a period in a firm The jobholder must display a pleasant manner in dealing with colleagues, contacts, and clients. Tact and resilience are essential qualities. An effective communicator, both numerate and literate. Personally efficient, well organised, and competent in the firm’s computer facilities. Essential Training Requirements:You are expected to have a good working knowledge of SARS. Good experience and knowledge of Legal accounts systems and Microsoft applications. Office :Marldon Chambers, 30 North John Street, Liverpool, L2 9QN Office Hours :9:00AM to 5:00PM Monday to Friday, 1 hour for lunch Duration :Full-Time/part-time Holidays :From 20 days per annum, pro rata, January to December inclusive, in addition to usual bank/public holidays Pension :Company Pension Scheme, employer 6.5% contribution and death in service benefit, is available to all employees upon attaining the age of 18 and after 1 years’service.
