Whether it's supporting practical classes, assisting with cutting-edge student projects, or helping staff and students navigate the latest technologies, your work will have a real impact.As a Computer Science Technician you will:Provide expert technical support across Computer Science programmes (including Software Development, AI, Networks and more Maintain and managing equipment in our computing labs and research suites Train staff and students on software, hardware and lab safety practices Lead on technical support for student and staff research projects Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols, including risk assessments Collaborate with academic teams and contributing to our inclusive culture Is this you?: A degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent professional experience High-level skills in Microsoft Office 365, network equipment, and multi-platform systems (PC, Mac, iOS, Android) Strong understanding of virtualisation platforms (Azure, AWS, VMware) and scripting (e.g., Bash) Great communication skills and a collaborative approach A proactive attitude to continual professional development Closing date for applications is 1st August 2025.
