An opportunity has arisen for two part-time Health Care Assistants to join the Clinical Outpatient Team. Hours available are 14 hours and 8 hours per week. Suitable candidates should possess a Level 3 certificate or apprenticeship in a healthcare-related subject, as well as a Care Certificate. The department offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills and knowledge across various specialties, with support from a team of registered nurses. You will be proficient in venipuncture, have excellent organizational skills within the clinic setting, demonstrate leadership qualities, and have a keen interest in leading standardization of clinic activities. You will provide a person-centered approach to patient care, ensuring compassionate and personalized service to enhance the patient experience. Support clinicians by assisting in the delivery of care to patients directly or indirectly. Manage clinic workload and team organization. Support registered staff using knowledge and skills learned at NVQ Level 3 to provide safe and effective care. Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and visitors. Carry out routine procedures required for the day-to-day running of the department, where no interpretation of results is needed. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the department.
