Due to sustained success and growth are recruiting for Fabrication Assistants to join our busy team.The Role: As Fabrication Assistants you will report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager and will be given the responsibility for assisting with Welding & fabrication projects at our Swindon Factory.Duties will include:Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, weld and fabricate metal componentsWork with Mild and Stainless Steel pipework and Structural SteelworkCut, Drill and Prepare pipe and Steelwork prior to fabricationAssist in fabricating metal partsCarry out application of protective coatingsProtect finished objects from transport and installation damageOur Offer:Rate of Pay based upon experienceCompany Pension Scheme28 days a year holiday inclusive of eight current recognised Bank HolidaysIndustry training and development providedCompany uniform and PPE providedOn-Site ParkingThe Person:To be considered for this role, applicants should be able to: -Basic maths skills for measurements and calculationsFamiliarity with working with mild and stainless-steel pipework and structural steelwork an advantageBe able to work on own initiative and as part of a teamA willingness to listen and learnA full driving license – required to drive to our Swindon Factory location.How to Apply: Ready to join our team and make a difference?
