We are a Level 2 Neonatal Unit and deliver all levels of care, including transitional care which is provided on our postnatal wards.Main duties of the jobTo assist in delivering safe and effective care to babies requiring Neonatal Special Care (SC) on the Neonatal Unit and Transitional Care (NTC)on the postnatal ward.Communicating directly with Neonatal nursing and medical teams to plan care for baby in SC/NTC.Acting autonomously to escalate concerns regarding babies' condition to the Neonatal nurse in charge, working within agreed local guidelines.Deliver health promotion and support to families to enable them to appropriately care for their premature or unwell infants.To instruct, advice and deliver parentcraft classes to parents/carers including bathing, Resuscitation and safe sleep guidance.About UsThank you for showing an interest in working with us at Epsom and St Helier - a family of more than 7,000 colleagues.We are truly an integrated health and care Trust.
