You will play a vital role in supporting and helping them to build confidence, life skills, and resilience in a safe and supportive environmentKey ResponsibilitiesBuild positive relationships with residents to support their emotional and social development. Support daily routines, including meals, education, and activities. Create a safe, nurturing environment where young people feel secure and valued. Manage challenging behaviour using de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies. Maintain accurate records including logs, reports, and incident forms. Participate in household tasks like cooking and cleaning when applicable. Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.Qualifications & SkillsExperience in care or support roles with young people. Understanding of trauma-informed care and behaviour support. Education: Qualifications in youth work, social care, or a related field are preferred. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate young people. Attributes: Energetic, patient, and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting youth development.
