Job summary Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity to use your clinical skills to make a difference, working in a flexible environment? If so, there is a fantastic new opportunity to join our Eating Disorder Service. The Eating Disorders Teams is a countywide service that provides clinical management and therapeutic interventions for people with eating disorders across Worcestershire. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse, OT or Social worker who has the knowledge and skills relevant for the role. The position involves working closely within our multi-disciplinary team and working within NICE guideline standards. The role will involve triaging referrals and completing initial assessments and therapeutic interventions; training relating to assessing within the speciality of eating disorders will be provided. Experience working in eating disorders is desired but not essential. This is full time post, but we would consider applicants looking for part time. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the smooth and effective implementation of evidence-based therapy for our client group. The post holder will be required to work collaboratively with the key partner organisations, patients, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary teams. Applicants will need to have a genuine interest in working within eating disorder services. The post holder will have a clinical caseload and support with assessments of new referrals. The service is county wide with two bases Hill Crest and Studdert Kennedy House. There is some ability to work from home however the successful candidates will need to be able to meet the travel requirements of the role.
