About The Role UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE+ MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP The Mount, on a fixed term contract. HMP The Mount is a category C Prison located in Hemel Hempstead, the site supports around 1000 male patients aged 21 plus . Within this role you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team who deliver Primary, Substance Misuse and Mental Health care. You will work within a job share position delivering clinical screening, medication reviews, attending and sometimes facilitating safer prescribing meetings. You may also be involved in the future plans for Pharmacist lead clinics. This role requires clinical experience, and would suit an applicant who has an independent prescriber qualification. Qualifications & Experience Registered Pharmacist - holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Vocational Master’s Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training Relevant post qualification Although not essential, this role would ideally suit an applicant with a prescriber qualification and SystmOne experience Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
