An opportunity for a Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Haematology and Blood Transfusion is now available. The post holder will be highly skilled in the latest techniques and complex instrumentation, alongside traditional manual methods. They will apply professional judgment and utilize specialist skills to provide timely results to clinicians. Maintaining their specialist skills through training and self-education is expected. The role involves supporting the development and training of colleagues, maintaining high standards of quality management, and taking a lead role in responsibilities appropriate to a band 6 role. We provide a 24/7 diagnostic service with full-time hours covering day, evening, night, and weekends. If you have the qualifications and experience (minimum IBMS specialist portfolio or IBMS accredited MSc) and wish to develop your expertise in haematology and blood science, we look forward to hearing from you.
