Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be working with our Belfast-based client to recruit a Remote Technical Support Advisor for evening shifts. About the Role As a Technical Support Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for merchants, partners, and resellers seeking support with credit card and ACH payment terminals and gateways. Your goal is to resolve 1st line technical issues efficiently, deliver an exceptional support experience, and empower customers with the knowledge to help themselves. You'll be working in a supportive, high-performance environment where collaboration and customer satisfaction are key. Your input will also contribute to improving technical support processes and ensuring client issues are escalated appropriately when necessary. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound support calls and emails from clients regarding payment terminals and systems Diagnose and resolve 1st line technical issues promptly and professionally Assist with orders, troubleshooting, and general account queries Educate users to help them become more self-sufficient with the technology Collaborate with internal teams and escalate issues when needed Identify trends and share insights to help improve support processes Criteria Previous experience in a technical support or helpdesk role Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Confident working independently and as part of a remote team Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Able to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment Competitive starting salary of £27,000 per year Biannual performance bonuses £60 monthly broadband allowance Full remote working setup Ongoing training and development A dynamic, supportive team culture Other DetailsTechnical Support Advisor (Remote - Evenings) Location: Home-based - Preference for applicants to be NI based.
