Duties and Responsibilities As Spa Therapist, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following: Have thorough knowledge and ability to perform spa menu face and body treatments as per Six Senses Spas standards. Ensure treatment rooms always have enough supplies as per standards. Recommend treatments and products based on lifestyle consultation forms and assessment questions asked to guests. Request and log stock of supplies necessary for the treatment rooms. Set up the treatment rooms as per standards. Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to guests at all times. Serve welcome drinks or other menu offerings to guests when required. Upsell all property facilities and activities. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of the Spa and treatment rooms. Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. Strive to maintain and exceed performance benchmarks. Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments. Qualifications To execute the position of Spa Therapist, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results, including the following: High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in luxury spas and health clubs with proven references. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred. Graduated or have broad knowledge of anatomy and physiology, massage therapy, beauty therapy at NVQ, ITEC, or CIDESCO level. Understanding and specialization in various beauty products, aesthetic appliances, their specifications, and uses. Knowledge in the use of facial, nail, or other beauty technology as required to fulfill spa treatments. Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
