This hands-on role requires strong design skills, a practical understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to work across disciplines and with external partners.Your main responsibilities will be:Design and developmechanical test fixtures and test rigsto support component and system-level testing. Lead thescoping and definition of test rig requirementsbased ont echnical objectives and system constraints. Assist with initialprototype buildsand hands-on rig commissioning. Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and supportDesign and Release (DnR) documentation . Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align test setups withmechanical, electrical, and thermal system requirements . Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing teamsto ensure components arep rocured and built to specification. Implement lessons learned and drivecontinuous improvement initiativesto enhancerig performance, safety, and reusability . Who are we looking for?You are...Passionate about engineering result-oriented proactiveQualificationsExperience, skills and qualifications required:Background inmechanical or systems engineering roles , ideally within theautomotive or aerospace sectors . Proven experience in test rig or fixture designformechanical or electromechanical systems . Familiarity with system-level validation processesandrequirements capture . Proficient in Siemens NXor other3D CAD toolsfor mechanical design andassembly integration . Strong understanding of engineering BOMs andproduct release workflows (DnR) .
