Training Programme Director - Child and Adolescent PsychiatryWe are seeking to recruit a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Training Programme Director. Applicants must already work within Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in a Thames Valley Trust. This role requires 2 hours per week and offers £5000 per annum. The Training Programme Director will work with and support the Head of School in leading various functions aligned to the NHS England mandate. Note: NHSE is expected to merge into DHSC by 31/10/2026, so extensions and new appointments are only guaranteed until then. We will keep impacted staff informed of future plans. Main dutiesThe Training Programme Director is accountable to the Head of School. The role focuses on improving learner supervision, assessment, engagement of faculty, and ensuring effective educational outcomes. It also involves workforce transformation and developing multi-professional links.
