Job OverviewThe roleEmanuel School is looking for a proactive Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our students, staff, and visitors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in site and facilities security.As a Security Officer, you will ensure the wellbeing of everyone on site by undertaking a range of security duties. Your responsibilities will include managing access to the school grounds and car park, assisting with visitor procedures, and providing a professional, friendly presence as the first point of contact to the school. You will also be responsible for securing the site each evening by locking the premises and setting the alarms, as well as handling routine administrative duties related to the role.Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with good organisational abilities, IT proficiency, and a practical approach to problem-solving. An SIA licence is required, although we also welcome applications from candidates willing to undertake the necessary training.Working at EmanuelThere is always a buzz at Emanuel.
