TEAM This is a really exciting opportunity working as a key member of the Holidays Finance team, reporting into the Senior Finance Manager – Transactions for easyJet holidays.The role heads up the AP and AR teams, and maintains a strong relationship principally with the Holidays Sourcing team, and with many other teams too! JOB PURPOSE > The purpose of this role is to be the end-to-end finance owner for financial transactions within easyJet holidays and build and maintain strong relationships with other teams around the business. > The role is responsible for the AP and AR (B2C and B2B) teams within holidays. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES > Maintain a strong control environment across the transactions team > Present dashboards on team performance against targets to management, which will be refreshed each week, so you truly have your finger on the pulse of the team > Take ownership of short term cashflow forecasting and currency funding requirements > Become the subject matter expert in payments (in and out!), and the flow of data from the reservations platform in to the ERP. > Create a roadmap for improvements for the transactions area, from marginal gains through to the more strategic. > Continue the improvements in our payment practices performance Requirements of the Role COMPETENCIES >Ownership and Delivery.Has a clear focus to drive delivery of results, working to targets, reviewing progress and adapting their plans accordingly, motivating themselves and the team to achieve. >Business Performance. KEY SKILLS REQUIRED > Qualified accountant with at least two years post qualified experience > A strong understanding of the finance transactions space > Track record of process improvement or automation > Summarise and communicate key issues from high volumes of data with a high attention to detail > Proven ability to digest and interpret accounting complexity across balance sheet, cash flow and P&L > Comfortable to communicate and challenge effectively with key stakeholders at all seniority levels in the organisation both finance and non-finance colleague s > Manage own time across variety of tasks and projects to deliver to deadlines > Ability to explain finance to non-financial stakeholders > A proactive team player > The ability to work on own initiative and has the confidence to offer solutions > A true self starter, with high levels of motivation and enthusiasm.
