Job DescriptionJob Title:Vehicle InspectorReporting to:Workshop ManagerDepartment:MechanicalLocation:EnfieldJob OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled vehicle Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the vehicles coming in and going out meet quality standards and specifications. This position requires a strong mechanical proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary.ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed inspections on vehicles. MPI checks on vehicles (10 - 12 vehicles a day) Utilise various hand tools and power tools to perform measurements and tests on components. Collaborate with workshop to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use. Perform heavy lifting as required during the inspection process or when handling materials.ExperienceProven mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding product specifications and functionality. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively is required. Previous experience in a similar inspection role or quality control environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
