To develop, deliver and promote strategies within the practice to increase efficiency and performance. To offer the best clinical and technical advice and care for patients on an individual holistic basis. About You Qualified, HCPC Registered Hearing Aid Audiologist with a minimum of 1 year qualified experience in Clinical Audiology. Commercially aware whilst dedicated to exemplary patient care and be passionate about audiology and ready to embrace innovation in products, technology and ways of working. Have a strong sense of empathy for your clients by being confident and articulate and able to listen, and understand their issues, taking accountability for yourself. Strive for excellence by continuously working to improve your own skills, knowledge, and ways of working, whilst demonstrating a genuine desire to be part of the team and support those around you. IT literate, whilst specific training will be provided, you must be able to handle the demands of working with the latest technology including a number of different manufacturers’ integrated fitting systems, IT based patient management systems, Office 365. Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS Check. Competitive salary negotiable, depending on experience. Job Description Reporting to the Managing Director this role encompasses responsibility for audiological assessments, dispensing hearing instruments and aural care. To deliver best practice Audiological and aural-care service with the highest standard of clinical care, in line with the company vision and ethos. To develop, deliver and promote strategies within the practice to increase efficiency and performance. To offer the best clinical and technical advice and care for patients on an individual holistic basis. The duties include fitting hearing aids, providing advice and counselling, servicing and repairing hearing instruments for the clients and organising follow-up and review appointments to assess clients’ progress. Fields of Responsibility ·Dispensing of hearing instruments and provision of audiological consultative services to existing and new patients. ·To service and repair hearing instruments where possible. ·To maintain and monitor repair room stock ·To remove ear wax in a safe and professional manner, or to work towards this after proper training at an approved centre. ·To promote the Practice and work towards achieving sales targets as set from time to time. ·To keep abreast of technological developments in the audiological industry so ensuring that the Centre’s high standards and ethos are never comprised.
