About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an Agile Delivery Lead to join the John Lewis Partnership. You will work within one of our Agile delivery teams in Waitrose, where we continue to invest significantly in developing our technology capabilities, skills, and underpinning technologies. Our in-house engineering capability has been central to our move onto a cloud-hosted micro-service oriented platform, aimed at exceeding customer expectations and delivering on our Partnership Plan. Working with Product Managers and Engineering teams, you will be instrumental in taking products from conception to implementation, utilizing your passion for delivery and technology. You should have an excellent understanding of agile frameworks and how to define and deliver solutions collaboratively to achieve business outcomes and value. At a glanceHybrid Working- This role involves a mix of working from home (UK-based) and at our Bracknell Head Office. Occasional visits to other locations may be required for collaboration and meetings. Salary up to£75,000 (dependent on experience) Contract type- Permanent What you'll be doing as a Delivery LeadLeading product delivery with a focus on quality, ensuring solutions meet business needs and are supportable and maintainable. Driving delivery by collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to release value early. Releasing software to Production regularly and in a controlled manner, monitoring releases, and planning for potential issues. Understanding the technology stacks to add value to decision-making. Facilitating agile events, coaching, and mentoring teams to high performance using key metrics. Identifying and resolving impediments to keep the team focused on delivering value iteratively. What you'll haveWe value individual experiences and encourage bringing new ideas to the role. Ideally, you will have: Passion for building high-performing, cross-functional digital teams. Deep understanding of Retail IT Delivery in an agile environment. Knowledge of cloud and microservice technology. Experience with Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and DevOps frameworks.
