In this role, you will ensure the efficient execution of system administration and document management, in line with internal and external requirements, company objectives, and agreed targets, supporting the corporate office and international Business Units. You will bring experience from large global organizations, a strong understanding of governance around policies, standards, and procedures, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures. What you’ll doProcess:Oversee the entire document lifecycle, from issuance to archiving, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Manage the document numbering system and allocate unique document numbers, using the agreed BMS document convention. Conduct audits of the BMS, proactively identifying and rectifying quality deficits, errors, and discrepancies, including managing document ownership. Monitor BMS document reviews for completion and ensure review and overdue notifications are issued.Interfaces:Serve as the go-to expert for all BMS-related inquiries, offering guidance and support to ensure efficient use of the management system. Provide guidance and support to document and process owners on process mapping. Regularly meet with document owners and stakeholders to monitor document progress.Governance & Reporting:Ensure BMS documents are current and readily accessible to personnel. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date document metadata to support efficient control processes. Execute quality control measures on BMS documents, aligning them with templates and standards. Evaluate and update document control procedures and instructions, ensuring effectiveness and adherence to best practices. Generate detailed reports on document status relative to KPIs, providing insights for continuous improvement.System & Training:Act as the SME for the BMS, leading training sessions and supporting system utilisation.What to bringFamiliarity with BMS and understanding of its role in safe operations and risk management. Industry experience with BMS processes in the oil and gas sector. Knowledge of BMS documentation structures and governance. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills to engage with colleagues at all levels. Attention to detail and organisational skills.
