As a research pharmacy Administrator, you will be assisting our pharmacy clinical trials team deliver world class research by maintaining the storage and receipt of clinical trials medicines across the Trust. You will assist the Lead Research Technicians and our production colleagues to provide a high-quality dispensary service giving access to new and ground-breaking treatments to patients via study protocols. Together we undertake ground-breaking research across several specialities including cancer, neurology, stroke, rheumatology, and early phase medicine with approximately 400 trials currently open to recruitment involving investigational medicines, known as IMPs. Main duties of the job Main roles & responsible are • Manage two main email inboxes, Seniors (new setups & amendments) & Invoicing (CT income) and distributing to the correct member of the CT team • Sending out the new setups for reviews to CT pharmacist (these reviews have KPIs of 10 days) • Sending out amendments for review to the multidisciplinary pharmacy team (to ensure we implement with 35 days) • Sending out the approval emails for clinical trial amendments • Over the past 12 months they have chased unpaid invoices • Support each month with the monthly invoicing for clinical trial activity - supporting information for the invoiced amounts • Answering sponsor queries on invoices generated by the team and resolving them or distributing to the correct member of the CT team • The initiation of the set-up of a clinical trial on CTMS and creation of the e-file for the new study • Updating of data on Q-Pulse for the setup of new studies - to ensure accurate data on set up KPIs • General admin - minute taking, room booking, meeting reminders etc Working for our organisation University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is one of the most complex NHS trusts in the UK, serving a large and diverse population.
