About the role We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our Operator Licence compliance. This role involves working closely with the Transport Operations Manager to ensure all terms of the Operator Licence are met, maintaining driver records, overseeing vehicle maintenance, and ensuring legal compliance. The successful candidate will also handle administrative duties to support the smooth operation of our transport services. You will be responsible for Including but not limited to: Ensuring drivers' hours and tachograph rules are followed, with proper records maintained. Verifying all drivers hold valid licences. Supporting Driver Trainers in managing driver documents, including assessments, inductions, training, and CPC HR files, ensuring they are complete and audit-ready. Monitoring vehicle operation within speed limits and taking appropriate actions. Maintaining vehicle records such as defect reports, safety inspections, and maintenance logs. Ensuring vehicles and trailers are fit and roadworthy, including hired vehicles. Monitoring for defects that could affect safety, recording and addressing issues promptly. Managing digital systems for Tacho analysis, licence checks, vehicle files, and telematics. liaising with suppliers, reviewing performance, and resolving queries. Conducting spot checks on drivers, vehicles, and administration. Problem-solving and supporting internal/external audits and compliance reviews. Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with GDPR. You will need Essential: GCSE Maths & English grade C or above or equivalent. Administrative experience. Experience in transport & logistics environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. Ability to analyse verbal and numeric data. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Desirable: National CPC holder. Experience within Booker or similar retail/wholesale sectors. Knowledge of Road Transport law, especially driver hours and vehicle servicing. Fleet administration experience. Understanding of Operator licensing compliance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
